Members of Birmingham War Evacuees Club enjoyed an afternoon tea with Lord Mayor Cllr Michael Wilkes at Birmingham Council House on Tuesday (April 20).
In total, 25 members of the club were present, and many wartime memories were shared with the Lord Mayor, who was joined by Lady Mayoress Vivienne Wilkes for the event.
The War Evacuees Club was formed 16 years ago, the afternoon tea was the third of its kind enjoyed by its members.
