A motion calling for Birmingham City Council to develop a Green Energy Action Plan, was approved at September’s City Council meeting yesterday (September 7).
The plan would explore the ways in which the authority can generate power for its own use or to be sold to the national grid, after a recent decision by the Government to back the concept nationally.
