The Notebenders, Birmingham- based community big band will team up with the much-praised BBC Big Band at artsfest. The unique collaboration and celebration of Jazz will be recorded for a BBC 2 Big Band Special on Friday 10 September (8pm) at Town Hall.
Councillor Martin Mullaney, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Sport & Culture will be with members of The Notebenders at Symphony Hall, as the excitement builds for artsfest, as the stage starts to be erected for the festival in Centenary Square for the weekend.
