Enjoy a creepy night out with a difference this Friday (Oct 29) as the Birmingham Museum Collections Centre throws open its doors for a Halloween Night.
The centre will be open from 6.30-9pm when visitors have an opportunity to see museum stores after dark and be guided through a spine tingling trail to see some of the scariest objects not on general display. Who knows what, or who, you may encounter along the way…
Hatton Bug Zoo will be making a special appearance at this event, and introducing our visitors to their mini-beasts, a popular activity with schools, families, and those who like creepy crawlies! Please note that this is an optional part of the event, as we know that not everyone is a creepy-crawly fan!
…and if all those ghosts flying around make the night air a bit chilly, there will be some warming refreshments on offer.
Please wrap up warm and wear sensible footwear.
Suitable for all ages, no need to book.
Visitors are welcome to dress up in Halloween costume.
6.30pm – 9pm at the Museum Collections Centre. For more information contact Louise Taylor on 0121 675 2579 or email louise.a.taylor@birmingham.gov.uk
Please note that the Museum Collections Centre is a separate facility in Nechells and is not at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery’s central site.
