No plans to charge people to watch Olympic training

With reference to today’s Birmingham Mail story: Fury at plan to charge Birmingham people to watch Olympic athletes practice Leader of Birmingham City Council, Cllr Mike Whitby, said: “Quite rightly we will and do look at a whole range of revenue generating ideas but this is not something we will be taking forward.”
