Local Elections 2011 – Background briefing pack

Birmingham City Council is staging a local election on May 5th 2011. One third (40) of the seats on the council will be up for election.

Polls will be open 7am – 10pm with counting taking place immediatley and results expected to be declared from middnight .

Total: 191
