The magnificent Aston Hall by Candlelight event will close on Sunday 11 December
The popular Aston Hall by Candlelight event, which re-creates the experience of a traditional Victorian Christmas, takes place in one of the country’s finest Jacobean houses. The Hall is breathtaking lit by around 300 shimmering candles.
Visitors to Aston Hall by Candlelight are able to see actors and performers recreate a Victorian Christmas as members of the household prepare to entertain a very important royal visitor, Her Majesty Queen Victoria.
Amongst the entertainment, there are Christmas Carols and seasonal music performed in the Great Hall around the magnificent decorated Christmas tree. In the grounds of the Hall daring sword fighters and fire juggling displays entertain the crowds.
