Children of all ages are being invited to come and meet many of their favourite cartoon characters in person this weekend, at Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market.
Giant versions of Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam, Buzz Lightyear, The Tweenies and Mickey and Minnie Mouse will all be joining visitors throughout Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the market’s funfair on Centenary Square (in front of the REP Theatre).
As well as meeting these larger than life characters visitors will also be able to enjoy the wide variety of children’s games and rides at the fair, including the helter skelter, chair ‘o’ plane, merry-go-rounds, hoopla and other prize stalls.
The characters will be on site from noon to 6pm on both Saturday (10th) and Sunday (11th), with the fair itself open from 11am to 9pm each day up until the 23rd December.
