Armed Forces Day in Birmingham

This year's Armed Forces Day will take place on Saturday 25 June and will be an opportunity for the public to say thank you and to recognise the outstanding contribution made by the Armed Forces community. 

Birmingham's Armed Forces Day event will start at 11am with a private ceremony at the Hall of Memory where names of the fallen will be added to the Book of Remembrance.  There will be a march from Centenary Way bridge to Centenary Square at 11.30am, with a Drum Head and Outdoor Service at 11.45am. 

There will also be live entertainment on stage in Victoria Square from 11am - 5pm, including performances by the Forces Sweethearts, a drill display from Royal Marines 1 Troop (National Drill Trophy champions) and a Beat the Retreat at 4.30pm.
