Bank Holiday Garden Party

The popular free Bank Holiday Garden Party returns to Blakesley Hall on Monday August 31 (12noon – 4pm)

Visitors to the popular event can enjoy a round of croquet and try their hand at country dancing .There will also be willow weaving demonstrations by Adam Gosling and garden tours by the Hall gardener.

Blakesley Hall Museum is one of the few remaining timber framed buildings left in Birmingham.  It was built in 1590 by Richard Smalbroke, a member of one of Birmingham's leading merchant families.
