Birmingham’s Best Bar None: short-list announced

By on 03/10/2013 in News

Birmingham can boast around 80 bars, pubs, hotels and nightclubs that have made the short-list for this year's Best Bar None awards (20143/14).

The award scheme recognises licensed premises in the city for their regulatory compliance.

Those making the short-list include student bars, the Sack of Potatoes and The Bristol Pear, along with city centre favourites the Old Joint Stock, Bacchus Bar and The Jamhouse, nightclubs, the O2 Academy and the Nightingale Club, and Hotel Bars, The Briar Rose and Broad Street's Novotel.

The Best Bar None awards for 2013/14 was launched at the venue of last year's winner – The Square Peg.  The Birmingham scheme is the biggest in the country and champions licensed premises that provide a safe and enjoyable night out.
