Birmingham's Indoor Markets moved to their current location on Edgbaston Street in 2000, as a result of the redevelopment of the Birmingham City Centre. To celebrate 10 years in this location they are having a week of fun-filled competitions and special offers, as well as an exciting celebrity appearance.

On Monday 22nd November and Wednesday 24th November the Indoor Markets will be offering customers 10% off all produce at over 50 stalls in the Markets. Stalls taking part in this promotion range from fishmongers to cobblers, fabric sellers to sweet shops.

To round off the celebrations on Saturday 27th Barbara Nice, star of Phoenix Nights and Coronation Street, will be at the Indoor Markets to help raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital. Traders at the Markets will be making a giant cake and any money raised will be donated to the worthwhile cause.

Indoor Markets trader Sue Phillips from The Fish Shop said:
“I am delighted we can give something back to our loyal customers. I hope people will come down to take advantage of the 10% off days and also come to see Barbara Nice and raise some money for the fantastic charity, Birmingham Children's Hospital.'

After more than 800 years in Central Birmingham the Bull Ring Markets moved to their current location in 2000.

Details of stalls participating in the 10% discount days will be detailed on the Indoor Market website www.indoorbullringmarket.co.uk and each stall will have a sign displayed.
