Birmingham in Bloom 2013 – the gardening competition for council tenants and leaseholders

The hunt is on for talented council tenants and leaseholders to show off their glorious gardens, balconies, window boxes, hanging baskets and pots.

Birmingham in Bloom, the gardening competition for council tenants and leaseholders, is back again, bigger than ever with great prizes on offer including a top cash prize of £100, gardening tools, trophies and an invitation to a special awards ceremony hosted by BBC WM’s Mollie Green.

If you - or a member of your family, a friend or neighbour - have the gardening 'X' factor, make sure you get your entry in. The closing date for this year’s competition is 26th July.

There will be winners from each of Birmingham's ten districts and overall citywide bronze, silver and gold winners in six categories:

Best front garden

Best back garden

Best communal garden

Best balcony, baskets or pots
