Council thanks S & X Media

The appointment of a new contract to provide public relations support to the Library of Birmingham comes after the previous three-year contract to support the Library of Birmingham Project came to end, requiring a new tendering process to be undertaken before any further appointment could be made.

The rigorous tendering process was based upon specific scoring criteria which looked at cost, value for money, content and the overall quality of each submission, in order to identify the winning bidder.

Brian Gambles, Assistant Director of Culture at Birmingham City Council, said:

“First and foremost I'd like to thank our incumbent supplier, S&X Media, for the fantastic job they have done over the past three years in helping to shape plans for, and promoting the Library of Birmingham.

“They set the bar very high and ultimately it was a very close decision as to who would be awarded the new contract moving forward.

“S & X's creativity, enthusiasm and insightful input have proven invaluable, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone seeking professional PR and marketing support in the future.
