Family Day at Birmingham’s Christmas Markets

6031622305_49c6e6ce41_oVisitors to Birmingham’s Christmas Markets on Sunday (20 November) will be able to get discounts on a wide range of food and gifts, as part of Family Day.

The offers are part of the popular family day taking place at the markets, which comprise the Frankfurt Christmas Market and the Christmas Craft Market.

Offers at the Frankfurt Christmas Market include 50p to £3 off selected food, up to 50 per cent off selected jewellery and decorations, plus up to 20 per cent off selected gift items, buy two gluhwein, hot punches or hot chocolates and get a free non-alcoholic drink, plus various half-price and multi-purchase deals.

Heart 100.7, the media partner for the event, will have its Heart Angels in Victoria Square on 20 November from 12pm to 4pm taking Christmas selfies of visitors to help them get into the festive spirit.

Together, the Christmas Markets comprise of nearly 140 stalls spanning about a mile through the city centre along New Street, Victoria Square and Centenary Square.

The Frankfurt Christmas Market  is open until 29 December and the Christmas Craft Market runs from 19 November until 20 December. Both markets are open daily from 10am to 9pm, except Christmas Day when the Frankfurt Christmas Market will be closed.

Complementing the Craft Market, Centenary Square will also see the return of the popular ice rink and big wheel, which will both continue until Sunday, 8 January 2017, from 10am to 10pm. Ice rink sessions last an hour and are on the hour, with tickets available from www.iceskatebirmingham.co.uk
