Fantastic fireworks at Pype Hayes Park

By on 30/10/2013 in News

Remember remember Tuesday 5th November by enjoying a fantastic free Disney-themed fireworks display at Pype Hayes Park, organised by Birmingham City Council.

This year's event features an exciting fireworks display set to music at 8.00pm (and watch out for the surprise finale at the end!). Gates open at  5pm  and alongside food and drink stalls there will also be the largest one day funfair in the country, provided by Bob Wilson's Funfairs, as well as entertainment from Free Radio, and fire-dance performances throughout the evening.

Councillor Ian Ward, Deputy Leader Birmingham City Council said: “Birmingham’s annual fireworks event is a great, free event for families to come along and enjoy the best display of fireworks in the city in safety; there’s also plenty of entertainment on hand to make it a very enjoyable event for all.”

As always, safety is a priority and visitors are asked to leave their pets and fireworks at home. Any alcohol or fireworks (including sparklers) brought on site by visitors will be confiscated and destroyed. No dogs, except guide dogs, are permitted.

Grab your hats, gloves and scarves and enjoy the safest and best fireworks display in the city.

There is no parking at the event except for Blue Badge Holders but a free shuttle bus service will run from the Fort Shopping Centre 5.30pm - 10.30pm

Resident road closures will be in operation

Buses to the event are: No. 28, No. 67, No. 914
