Georgian Christmas Tours at Soho House

Soho House will be open to the public for a series of special Georgian Christmas Tours. - starting on Wednesday 1st December.

Visitors will be able to see the house decorated with festive greenery and take special guided tours to discover how Christmas was celebrated in Georgian times with the assistance of a museum guide.

The tour starts at 11am and lasts one hour. Tickets cost £5, which includes a mince pie and mulled berry punch.

There are further tours on Thursday 2nd, Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th December.

Further highlights at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery this Christmas will include the return of the Nativity Art Trail of artworks depicting the Christmas story, from 30 November - 6th January 2011.  Santa will be returning to the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery every weekend from 27 November-19 December, £3 per child, adults free. Children coming to see Santa in his Museum grotto will receive a special gift and be able to have their picture taken.
