Incident at Pershore Street car park

Following successful police negotiations with the man, all roads around Pershore Street in the City Centre have now re-opened.

Pershore Street Car Park has also been re-opened.

The police are dealing with a man who is threatening to jump from the top of Pershore Street Car Park.

City Council Car Parks and Highways teams are liaising with the police at the scene.

Pershore Street is closed between Sherlock Street and Ladywell Walk. Bromsgrove Street is closed from the junction with Hurst Street to Pershore Street.

Council security officers and police are assisting any members of the public as necessary.
