It’s access all areas for bloggers and anyone with an interest in the latest council developments as free wireless internet access is now available in all committee rooms in Birmingham Council House.

The move follows on from the recent introduction of live streaming of council meetings which has attracted over 10,000 views in the first month.

Councillor Ian Ward, Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council, said:” The popularity of the streaming of public council meetings has highlighted the real appetite for access to the democratic process in Birmingham.
