ping brumPing! – the innovative public ping pong festival is returning to Birmingham and is now in its fifth year in the city. The popular outdoor table tennis festival returns to the streets and communities of Birmingham for a whole summer of activity, launching in the Birmingham Markets on Friday 26th June at 11am, the festival will run until the 31st August.

The tables are located in well known public places across the city with bats and balls supplied. Just pick up a bat from the side of the table and play!

Ping! is being delivered by Table Tennis England in partnership with Birmingham City Council and is funded by Sport England.
Check out our ‘Find a Table’ page to see where your nearest one can be found, and see our ‘Play On’ page for some open sessions in the city!

Following on from the success of last year’s festival, a large number of table tennis tables remain in community locations such as the parks and community centres and these will continue to be available following on from the Ping! festival. All are free to use, just turn up, pick up a bat and ball and get started.
