Opera singers, cabaret stars, punks and school choirs head to Birmingham University to celebrate the musical contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) artists on Thursday 28 November from 6.30 - 10pm.

Amongst those taking part in the Say It Loud! concert will be the Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra, the cast of 'Rent', and Vix from Fuzzbox who will perform the History Month anthem - Say it Loud. 

Hosted by comedian Barbara Nice, special guests include former East Enders actor Michael Cashman CBE MEP and Birmingham City Council's Chief Executive Stephen Hughes.

The evening extravaganza, which takes place in The Bramall Concert Hall,  is part of the annual LGBT History month pre-launch which this year celebrates music.
