Say It Loud!

Opera singers, cabaret stars, punks and school choirs are heading to Birmingham University to celebrate the musical contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) artists on 28 November from 6.30 - 10pm. 

Amongst those taking part in the Say It Loud! concert will be the Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra, opera singers from the University of Birmingham, Old Joint Stock Theatre Company's cast of 'Rent', lesbian punk band DRAG, Rainbow Voices and a pioneering group from Turves Green Girls. 

Special guests include former East Enders actor Michael Cashman CBE MEP, lead singer/songwriter Vix from Fuzzbox and Birmingham City Council's Chief Executive Stephen Hughes.

The evening extravaganza, which takes place in The Bramall Concert Hall,  is part of the annual LGBT History month pre-launch which this year celebrates music.
