Actions yesterday

Gritting operations and ploughing of the Priority Treated Network continued throughout the day until 16:00 when ploughing was scaled back as all roads were clear. Further gritting commenced with fresh crews at 18:00 in order to help prevent ice and snow formation overnight

Actions today

Further patrol gritting commenced this morning to widen running lanes where appropriate. This will continue until conditions dictate that this may cease. Footway treatments on Priority One footways continued overnight and this morning as necessary before daytime resources are redirected to Priority Two footways.

Public transport services appear to be operating normally

No further update will be provided today unless there is significant additional information or the situation deteriorates.
