Swine flu briefing

Members of the local government community gathered in Birmingham to discuss some of the priority issues that have arisen as a result of the swine flu pandemic.

A wide range of organisations were represented at the event by more than 100 delegates.

The briefing event, staged at the Council House, was organised by the Local Government Association and amongst those who spoke were Cllr Paul Tilsley (Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council) and Jim McManus Birmingham’s Joint Director of Public Health).
