So it seems Cllr McKay (“Member for a Green City”) and colleagues expect me to burn petrol once a week to move my car so i can put the bins out; and again once a week to put them away again. Apart from costing me money, I’m not clear how this helps the environment, especially given that I already recycle everything I can.

I live in the Brandwood ward (Taylor Road) and have had wheelie bins for the last few months, they are fantastic and easy to use and so much cleaner than the black sacks, I would recommend them to everyone!
