Planning a trip to Birmingham to see the world famous Staffordshire Hoard this weekend?
In response to huge demand, the opening hours of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery have been extended until the exhibition closes on October 13th.
The opening hours will be:
Saturday 3rd Oct 9am - 6pm
Sunday 4th Oct 11am to 6pm
Monday 5th Oct to Friday 9th Oct 9am - 5pm
Saturday 10th Oct (Light Night) 9am - 11pm
Sunday 11th Oct 11am - 6pm
Monday 12th Oct and Tuesday 13th Oct 9am - 9pm
Only the Hoard artefacts will be open to the public during the extended opening hours, other areas of the museum will open at the usual times.
These are as follows:
Monday - Thursday 10am - 5pm
Friday 10.30am - 5pm
Saturday 10.00am - 5pm
Sunday 12.30pm - 5pm
Please allow plenty of time to see the Hoard, including queuing time.
