Taking pride in where we live

By on 19/03/2015 in Cllr Trickett, News

Councillor Lisa Trickett, Cabinet Member for a Green, Smart and Sustainable City, has been out and about in Birmingham city centre with the council’s Head of Environmental Health, Mark Croxford, and litter enforcement officers to see some of the litter hotspots and the role that people who live and work in or visit the city can play their part in keeping it clean and tidy. This formed part of a week of action taking place during National Spring Clean week, as well as helping to reinforce the council’s new Cleaner Streets: Love Where We Live campaign, which aims to re-invigorate Birmingham City Council, in terms of officers and members, and communities in taking pride in where we live – our streets, our neighbourhoods, our city.
