Birmingham City Council leader Mike Whitby joined the crowds at the first ever Birmingham International Food Fair earlier today and saw just why the event has been a huge success.

Running over nine days (June 20- 28) the fair has featured over 60 stalls, located in Victoria Square and New Street, showcasing dishes and flavours from a wide range of countries, including France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Australia and the Far East.

The best of British food and drink has also been represented with traditional produce and locally brewed drinks.
