Minstrels and money off at Birmingham’s Christmas Markets
There will be wandering Minstrels and a Giant Snow Globe at Birmingham's Christmas Markets this Sunday - and the chance to get money off a huge range of drinks and gifts too.
Sunday 1 December is Family Day at Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market and the adjoining Christmas Craft Market in Centenary Square, and there are lots of discounts and special offers to help visitors make the most of their day out.
At the Frankfurt Christmas Market there's 50p to £1 off most food, £3 off chocolate gift boxes, 30 per cent off selected jewellery, 15 per cent of orchid flower candles, buy two get one free on selected wind chimes, keyrings and candles, and £1 off bird whistles and vases.
Minstrel storytellers from Birmingham Ormiston Academy will perform in Lower Victoria Square from 11am to 4.30pm and there will be a Giant Snow Globe in Centenary Square for your festive photos.
Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market and Christmas Craft Market are open until Sunday 22 December from 10am - 9pm daily.
This year the outdoor ice rink also makes a welcome return. 'Winter Skate' at Birmingham's ice rink is open daily from 10am to 10pm until 5 January (except Christmas Day) with last entries at 9pm.
