Balsall Heath referendum - Yes vote
The Balsall Heath Neighbourhood Plan referendum took place today, Thursday 8 October 2015.
In answer to the question – ‘Do you want Birmingham to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Balsall Heath to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’ - close to 90% of the vote were in favour. Turnout was around 22%.

Number of eligible voters – 10,065
Total number of votes cast – 2242
Turnout – 22.28%
Number of votes found to be invalid – 14
Total number of valid votes counted – 2228
Number voting YES – 2014 (89.83%)
Number voting NO – 214 (10.17%)
