New Year’s Eve in Birmingham
Starting at midnight there will be five minutes of fantastic fireworks in the heart of Birmingham city centre to bring in 2014 with a bang.
Visible from Centenary Square, the firework display will be digitally fired.
The Birmingham Wheel will be open until 12.30am with fantastic views around Centenary Square, although it will be closed for a short time while the firework display takes place.
Broad Street (from Paradise Circus to Sheepcote Street) will be closed to vehicles from 11pm to 12.30am. Taxis will be located outside the ICC and will have access along Broad Street. Bridge Street will be closed from 11.45pm to 12.15am.
